Last month I was lucky enough to spend a little time away from North Cornwall with some of the The Pets Larder family, just a stone's throw from our headquarters in Hayle, Cornwall. Our weekend away was spent in the stupendous town of St. Ives where we stayed just a hop, skip and jump from the beautiful Porthmeor beach in one of the incomparable Sail Lofts holiday apartments.

Dog-Friendly Stays in St. Ives with Sail Lofts

As many of you may know, St Ives is a charming town located on the west coast of Cornwall, famous for its stunning beaches, turquoise waters, and picturesque landscapes. This idyllic location has attracted artists and creatives for over a century, who have been inspired by the natural beauty of the area.

Some of the larger properties also have private balconies, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and taking in stunning views. There was even a TV in the bathroom in one of our group's apartments!

Another great feature is the showers and changing area in the communal courtyard which is perfect for washing off after a surf or sandy stroll with the dogs on the beach.
