One ingredient. One source. Made down the road.
These are whitefish skin cubes — nothing else. No binding agents, no flavour enhancers, no starch to hold them together. Just dried whitefish skin from human grade fish, processed at a Defra-approved facility in Cornwall, ten minutes from our warehouse in Hayle.
The fish varies through the year — cod, pollock, haddock, and other species from the Cornish fleet and trusted UK partners — because that's what honest sea-to-pet supply looks like. A single fixed species on the label usually means commodity sourcing. A range that reflects the UK catch means genuine traceability.
At 78.5% protein and 2.4% fat, these are among the leanest high-protein treats available. For dogs in training, on weight management plans, or with food sensitivities that rule out most meat-based treats, that combination is genuinely useful.
Why whitefish
High protein, very low fat Fish skin is naturally dense in protein and low in saturated fat — the analytical profile here is 78.5% protein, 2.4% fat. For dogs that need high-value training rewards without the calorie load of meat-based treats, or dogs on a calorie-controlled diet, that ratio is hard to beat.
Naturally occurring omega-3 Whitefish skin contains naturally occurring omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 supports skin condition, coat quality, and has anti-inflammatory properties that benefit dogs with joint stiffness or skin sensitivities. This is a whole food source rather than a synthetic supplement — it comes as part of the fish, not added after the fact.
Hypoallergenic and grain-free Single protein source, no grains, no gluten, no additives. For dogs with diagnosed food sensitivities or dogs who react to common protein sources like chicken or beef, fish is frequently the protein that doesn't cause a reaction. The single-ingredient format means there are no hidden variables — if your dog tolerates fish, they'll tolerate these.
Gentle on digestion Fish is more digestible than most red meat proteins. For dogs with sensitive stomachs, puppies whose digestion is still developing, or senior dogs whose gut function has slowed, a lighter protein source reduces the digestive load without sacrificing nutritional value.
Training value The natural scent of dried fish is high-value to most dogs — it cuts through distraction in a way that milder treats don't. The small cube format is practical for repetition training. At this calorie density (336 kcal/100g) and fat content, you can use them at volume in a training session without meaningfully affecting daily intake.
Dental benefit through chewing The firm, crunchy texture creates mechanical abrasion against tooth surfaces during chewing — the same action that removes surface plaque from teeth they contact. This is a useful incidental benefit rather than a primary dental treatment. For targeted daily dental support, our seaweed dental powder works systemically across all tooth surfaces.
